AuthorEconomic Problem
Ok I know that in the game they are trying to simulate a real economy but their are flaws, work places need a lot of bail outs, so why not give them infinite money? There must be an easy way to do it so we don't have to worry about waiting for the adms to do it right?
no this game is good its like wat the us president is doing
plenty of money there is in the mines. and there should be the only easy way to enroll. in a places with higher salary is more than logical to be able to enroll, if you make some effort. just like in real life...

especially talking about the Magic factory in BG. i would like to hear any reasonable argument for it to be constantly and unnaturally stuffed with money, considering there are always enough free workplaces in the three mines there.
I really think ore is in high demand. theres none to buy from the mines only when the workshift finishes. maybe that should get fixed as well as the nickle....

Also i think the ore prices went up by 5 -10 gold
The wages paid for working the ore mine in the Great Capital has been reduced to 150 per shift. It used to be 175. No wonder people don't want to produce ore, that is the worst wage in the game. If they increased it to be 180 then lots of players would work them instead of moving out of the capital for a better place.

There have been reduced long ago. The problem is that introduction of new factories took all the ore from the system.
Just enrol at GC ore mine! Who know u be a victim of testing and empire give u plenty of gold
Just enrol at GC ore mine!
Yeah:)
To omega22:
yeah, that is the fact:" The problem is that introduction of new factories took all the ore from the system. "

and then, what is the solution for this? A problem isn't solved just by knowing the cause. The problem will actually solved when a good step is taken and got at the root of ore shortage problem..

(so the solution like 'just buy it at the market' isn't accepted).
what's the problem with the market? don't want to be a customer, wanna be a producer? ok, you can always start digging for ore in your basement... ;D)

Actually, work places are driven by supply and demand. Factories have to maintain some positive balance to hire workers, and their size is limited.

If all facilities had infinite money, they'd produce as much as workers there. But workers don't enroll based on utility of produced artifacts and resources, they simply search for the highest wage and convenience. So we would get TONS of mana tubes, leather helmets, and other artifacts nobody use.

I think only Mines may have infinite money, it would make more sense. Still, sulfur stocks in Yellow Lake would simply explode over time.
Make a trading algorithm with a few if, then statements, to make it a proper free market economy. Test the if thens at a set time in the day. It makes more sense with an example
For example

If stock <1 for more than 6 hours, new wage = old wage +1 and new sale price = old sale price +1.

If stock > 200 for more than 6 hours new wage = old wage -1 and new sale price = old sale price -1.

These are just the start. it would have to be quite big and complex as things like machining and production have to factor in the cost of the resources they buy, but you can see the idea with those examples.
