AuthorAutomatic Block-Unblock tools for Admins
@18:

You seriously want to give moderators temporary block button?
Yes, I do. Why not?

You know how many players would object?
Obviously... they who break the rule for several times for sure :)

As I said in post #8, why worried to get a punishment if we don't break the rule? This kind of 'punishment' is actually an Educational method to make them refrain from making comments in CaA forum.

What part of this rule is too hard to understand for them?
1. If you aren't related to the application directly - don't leave your messages in it's topic. Third-party comments are allowed only for providing additional facts about the affair, or for replacing the link to warlog with the more readable battlechat. Discussions, expressing personal opinions, etc. are penalized with at least 24 hour ban.

But so many players just decided to ignore the rule and keep making comments in CaA because they are not afraid of Forum Ban.

My point is simple:

You break the rule once, we can give you tolerance. Because sometimes people make mistakes and they were not aware of such a rule. Give them a Warning (without penalty)

You break the rule twice, we suspect that you intentionally do that. Give a penalty.

You break the rule for the 3rd times or more: you deserve a harsh penalty because we are confirmed that you intentionally break the rule.
And all of you can read post #20 by yourself.

I don't really care about few days forum ban. But Blocked XD

This is why they keep making comments in CaA. What a honest confession :)

@20:

What kind of mistakes can a Mod have if there is a clear proof that you make a personal comment in CaA while it is forbidden to do that?
So simple isn't it?

You wish, look, there are cases, rule breaks are pretty obvious and bans fair and he/she still objects and screams for "justice" and slanders moderators.

But what about the grey areas? What about those who post ^ out of desperation because they had loans not repayed and reported for 5 months, should they be under the same penalty as dummies who leave 3rd party comments? If yes, why? If no, why? Unfair one way or another.

What about those who post additional info with a personal comment? What would the allowed percentage of personal commentary added to links,profile info and description of rules violation be?

OK, still you can say only after 3rd violation, but still, for repeated offence against forum rules but without intention to lie, slander or frame someone there is an option to BAN them for 10 years.

BAD IDEA!

Hmm, this sentence actually supports the idea more than anything else in this whole thread because it shows "Why it should be done?". The sentence proves that forum BAN doesnt stop the people from further violating forum rules, although a slight gold penalty or temporary block definately would.
@23:

My suggestion for "Temporary Blocking" is only for making comments in CaA. And that is very obvious violation right ? Can you deny that you don't deserve the blocking while everybody can read it in the topic?

Aah.. now we agree on that thing :)
Another example of 'why it should be done'
