I have seen u combat log and you dont loose that many battles.
I think u should think first if wanna be a full might or a mix mage DE. (That 1 point on know is nothing)
You should think about using talents basic leadership and rally to have a increase in number of troops. I use it the most of the time at level 8. Just switch to basic offense and tactics when to fight shooters.
And then, at this level, DE just depend on SHREWS. The hit and run tactic.
Thats all folks.
For me work just fine. I won a lot of battles, just not PvP.
I was 8th at a survival tournament.
