*sigh*For people who spend their valentine alone.I do wanna know why?
My girl had gone thailand.Trip.For a whole week.Can you imagine no texting and calling FOR A WEEK??I CANT LIVE. |

me and my girlfriend are working shifts... i have to wake at 04.45 and i return home again at about 15.45... she has the lateshift and works till 22.30...

in my country St.Valentine's day is on the same date with the centuries older feast of the wine makers, where everybody brings his own domestic wine and brags with it's quality :} can't tell for sure but i think it's the same in Greece and most of the Slav countries (maybe Jabbar, Ektoras or other neighbour will tell for sure, if they pay a visit here ;))
probably everybody heard the gossip that Valentine's was made up by the merchants around the world to raise their sales of presents, souvenirs and valentine cards. don't know if it's true but the fact is that many people i know are not fond of it's commercial nature. (except for us, girls of course :})
actually the whole day turns into a kind of men contest "who is man enough to manage to escape from his girl and go to celebrate the other holiday, drinking with his friends till they drop". =P that's why they have to be exceptionally attentive and nice and generous to us during the whole day so we let them go at the evening :} last year my brother failed in this and has to bring his girlfriend to a romantic dinner, bearing his friends mocking for the next months xDD |

I gave mines her present today becuase I will be at work 2moro. Just another day though. I show my love to her everyday not just once a year if ya know what I mean. Sometimes I just buy her things or take her out becuase she is very special to me and I want her to always know that she is the love of my life. I try to make everyday valentines day, hehe, thats why I'm always broke, lol.
Seriously though, I don't always spend money. Sometimes I write her a love poem or sing her a song that I wrote just for her. I don't sing all that great but she loves it so that is all that matters.
