3.8.1. Participation of several characters played from one computer in one combat is prohibited.
Me and my wife are playing this game, we have at home 2 PC but conceted under local network to one router, so only one access point to internet.
My alt character have reached level 8, and my wife asked me for hunt help. I have accepted and helped her in a hunt.
Accordingly to point 3.8.1 we are not playing from one PC so we can fight, but as we share internet connection through router it will be imposible to demostrate that its played from two PC (same IP).
Can I continue helping her in hunts??
From my point of view as there are not other players involves, will be no problem at all. On group battles will be more complicate as some other player could think that we are one person and could make a claim with result that we have same IP and will be considered only one PC.
So what to do ?? stop helping her in hunts ?? (for Sure I will not make group battles with her) | | I think you can still do PvEs together but no PvPs. | I would say, you can help in hunts, since you are not braking this rule. Even Group battles are no problem, if you two are playing from 2 Computers it's legal.
I often bring my laptop to friends and we enjoy pvp. I don't see a problem in this. | It has been some time since players cannot(technically cannot) join combat with 2 characters from one computer. So there are in fact means to find out if you play from one or more computers.
There is no rule against participating in combats from same local network. Only rule is you have to mention all your accounts and relatives,friends playing from one connection in your profile. If you wont abuse any of these opportunities, you are welcome to join. By abuse I mean staged combats, financial assistance, etc. |
