Hi. Can someone plz tell me the powers of gene. I recently had a fight with 8 genes in an MG quest. They poisoned my rogues and lizard cavalry and caused 84 damage each turn.But it had no mana.
# Random caster: Darkness:
α Activated special ability.
This creature can cast a random Darkness magic school spell at enemy targets. The spells are cast at Advanced magic talent level.

neutrals seem to only cast about 3 times before they charge in to melee (no idea about why they don't have mana, maybe because the spell they cast is random, no double poisoning though if unit already poisoned iirc)
No need for double poisoning. Within 2 turns, my rogues would perish due to poisoning:( They deal 84 damage each turn.
um what i meant was that they would not random the poison spell again if they tried to use their random cast ability on a unit which was already poisoned

these guys are hard unless you have dispersion :P
I have dispersion.But Lizard cavalry will ignore their defenses right? The problem was, my units died before they could reach it. It had poisoned both my rogues and lizard cavalry.

u should be might de magic does not works much on other creature

for magic u need to wait for ur hero's turn

yeah u r right we get disruption at lvl 8
and also for that u need to built magic guild 2
So it is better to be a might DE, right? But isn't magic arrow useful against bowmens? Thanks for your tips.

For lower level, I suggest going magic, but from level 8 or 7 onwards, might DE is a better choice.

no it dosen't works much on them .it will just perish i think 12 or 13 bows but if ur might then lizard cavarly and shrews could perish 30 or 40 bows at 1 turn
Ok.Thanks.I think I will keep a little magic power with me to use against ghosts and fireball against enemies with many stacks.

for fireball u need to be lvl 10 yeah u r right just have +1 knowledge from lvl 8

i think rally and advanced fortune are good talents for lvl 10
rally and basic fortune are best for lvl 9
