Was it raised or is this some kind of bug?

I'm level 12 and I thought the max exp I could get was 12k for a TG ambush win. But in this battle I get over 13k. I'm not complaining, I just find it a bit odd. | may be get 10% bonus..
I also get 13200 exp (max)
12000 + 1200 (10%) = 13200exp |
