| Why cant I ever beat elves? I even lose 2 level 8 elves I cant ever win and i have a diamond upgrade... anyone have any tips? |
elf is unbeatable with dark elf at low levels
after lv 12 and 14 dark elf start to be really stronger :P |
| you sure about 12lv? Only after 14lv when you get ladons you can do really problems, or at 13lv if you buy them with diamonds. But till then they are quite weak against elfs. |

@2and3: you say that only because you are elves, but it's wrong :p
elves are quite easy to defeat for DE at any levels between 1 and 10 with same AP. (except maybe levels 5-7 where might DE are very weak...but i heard that magic DE are able to defeat elves at these levels)
i can't speak for levels 11+ because i don't have met elves at these levels for now (but i hope i can still win)
FK and EFK are a joke for any DE.
they are too slow (compared to DE units) and they have very low hit points.
the only problem against elves is their bowmen...but they are fragile. kill the bowmen, and you win.
in addition of that, most elves don't knows how to play against DE.
they never attack your shrews with druids: they always wastes the turn of their druids to cast a useless stoneskin on unicorns or EFK.
now you just have to attack other units with shrews, and to kill the stoned unit with a lizard charge ^^

OK, he missed the settlement, but difference made by artifacts is HUGE.
and i'm not the only one to beat them, in an old thread someone posted battles links where 0 AP dark elf defeated easily 10AP elves.
and at lower levels (before level5) DE can defeat elves too.

I dont think DE is better, I have many combats in my log like these. It really depends on who plays DE and who plays Elf;)

To fight elf a de only needs proper strategy... elven bows have low health one good hit from rogues (or shrews) even if there are only like 9 left can really screw an elf.. Focus your hero and other troops, even if you have to use rogue/shrews to kill the defending troops, then take a hit at bows.
Also, because of high speed you shouldnt put your rogues/shrews in range of the bows ever (unless they have arts for shooting range).. Just make sure when your fighting elves you plan ahead, and dont only go for the bows because they are the strongest. killing defending druids and letting your rogues in later is better than killing the bows with your character.
At any level, a good de can beat an elf.. In the end it depends on what kind of player the elf is, and if the de uses the correct strategies. |

| to #6 show me dark elf of my level(12 or 13 no big difference) which i cannot beat in duel, as i said only in 14lv or 13lv with diamond upgrade they can really hurt. |
