Here are several new artifacts. Please comment whether they are good or not and tell me your suggestions for their improvement. If you like them I'll post later more.
Golden sword of power
Cost: 29,500 gold 15 wood 30 ore 15 mercury 15 sulfur 15 crystals 15 gems

Durability: 75
Ammunition points: 11
Modifiers: Attack +8 Initiative +3%
In addition increases melee damage dealt by 8%.
Golden bow
Cost: 18,500 gold 50 wood 10 ore 10 gems
Required level: 14
Durability: 65
Ammunition points: 6
Modifiers:
Grants all shooters the "no ranged penalty" ability and increases ranged damage dealt by 12%.
Can be equipped onto back.
Golden shield
Cost: 21,000 gold 30 ore 15 mercury 15 crystals
Required level: 13
Durability: 75
Ammunition points: 7
Modifiers: Defence +6
In addition reduces ranged damage taken by 8%. |
Diamond staff
Cost: 28,000 gold 25 wood 20 mercury 20 sulfur 23 crystals 23 gems
Required level: 14
Durability: 75
Ammunition points: 11
Modifiers: Spell power +4 Knowledge +2
In addition grants 10% pierce through magic resistances.
Diamond helmet
Cost: 13,500 10 ore 8 mercury 8 sulfur 8 crystals 8 gems
Required level: 13
Durability: 70

Modifiers: Defence +3 Spell power +2
Increases the initiative of the wearer by 10%. |
the bow is way too powefull.
Grants all shooters the "no ranged penalty"
this is like a +100% ranged damages in PvP (most shoots are made out of range: attacks from shooters to shooters, shrews, cerberi...)
it would unbalance the factions (with this bow, factions with best shooters would crush everything)
if you really want such a powerfull ability, you must put some heavy maluses to balance it:

i think mine is better balanced :p
+100% damages is extremely powerfull, need a lot more maluses than -2 defense and -3 initiative ;) |
This bow was a favored and much sought artifact from the HoMM games if you played a shooter heavy faction. I believe it's only stat was to remove range penalty for all shooters. It really turns a shooter faction into a nightmare... As much as I loved it in HoMM, it would likely destroy balance here, unless it was severely nerfed. |
all of the arts are cut off from our normal arts like the ruby ones and faction arts
we need some thing really really new,like an item ta increase the enchants on it by 15 percent(their total is increased.like a weapon with 40% encahnts in total would deal an extra 6 percent damage)
or a staff that increases magic damage but 20 percent(wizard`s over powered ability wouldn`t make a huge difrent with this percent,a demon a DE or even an elf would be helped by this one)

for Magier:
those arts are rather nice but a serious more hard work is needed .and these arts would make a level 14 kill 3 level 13 so these arts should be allowed to lower levels player |

I wanted to make a REALISTIC suggestion. I know some REALLY new arts would be great but I don't think admins would introduce them.
and these arts would make a level 14 kill 3 level 13 so these arts should be allowed to lower levels player
I think that would overpower a low level player too much. |

for the migrating affects for the bow -atk kinda defeats the purpose of the bow.it should only minus ini luck morale def

the no ranged penality is way too strong, we are facing big difficulties to put maluses strong enough to balance with the +100% ranged damages.
we really don't need to turn the +100% ranged damages to a +120% ranged damages.
for the -5 attack of my idea, the goal is to reduce a bit the increase of damages, from +100% to something like +80%...
but i think it's still a lot too much, even with the def, init and luck maluses.
the more i think about it, the more i think that my bow of post 3 is unbalanced: too powerfull :)
and i don't like the -1 to morale, because it don't affect necromancers.
what about this one?

AP points are too low
AP points in golden bow should be 16 and not 6, for sword around 15, for shield 12, helmet 10...
and iniciative increase for 10% is too much... 5% is more than enough |

Long bow has 4 ap, composite bow has 5 ap so the next better bow should have 6 ap.

Your bow in post 14 would decrease the strength of the whole army more than it would increase the strength of the shooters.

Use more imagination with Diamond Staff, it is just like Ruby Staff :S
