AuthorPrevent Friendly Fire In Hunts
Can the developers change the coding in knights so that they can't volley a hunt partner's army? My army got volleyed when I helped a knight in a hunt. She killed my army instead of the monsters. So, I avoid helping knights. However, I can't stop a knight from helping me in a hunt. And it just happened again. The knight volleyed my army. And these "friendly fire" incidences are all unprovoked.
Friendly fire can be of use, for example if some ghosts need another miss.

And it simply would be too easy for spellcasters to cast fireball or earthen spikes.

btw, you can report hunt partners who deliberatly damaged your army (violations in tavern and battle).
haha i accidentally used flame instead of gating on my incend today and killed my retal takers >.< doh, but its my fault and in a group situation you need to learn when to or not to use it so:

I would hate to vote -1, and would rather vote +1, my magi would do great damage in a GB.
But I'm afraid friendly fire is needed, for otherwise some factions will become overpowered and sometimes as tactics.
And remember, you can report hunt partners who deliberatly damaged your army (violations in tavern and battle).

You see, creatures like dragons which have "Dragon's Breath" deals damage to ally troops. And if you have great tactics, you might just win the match cause of this.

The same applies to other creatures too. (At times)

Indeed many things can cause friendly fire. I need to be very careful when shooting with my liches too for example.

If someone does it on purpose then as mentioned above, you can report them in CaA forum and they will probably receive an increasing fine (depends how often they do it).
