Author | Game is too static or what? |
This question arose in my mind, cause I just checked out my referrals.
Only two among them have managed to get over level 3 (or I should say spent time to get to level 3) and the rest just left the game in 1 or 2 battles.
I'm not sure what the reason is, but I feel it might be because in the initial level the game is way too static? Not too much stuff that can attract new players?
What do you guys feel? |
I've invited 286 players so far, and only 54 made it to level 2+.
Staggered by these figures, I've carefully checked the logs of plenty of these early-quitting players. An incredible number of them dropped the game after their first defeat in duel - which is also, for most, their first defeat in battle.
Most of those going on in the game won their first duel. Few of the players going on actually lost this first duel.
Seems losing a battle is too much a burden to bear! |
When i was level 1 i got 900 exp then i quit because leveling up is waaaay too slow and now i think about it-only 600 exp to level up-but i quit
. I started this game because of my friend telling about this but he continued even though i quit so i played as well. And now here I am as a level 8. |
i didnt like this when i just started either.i was like what is this lame chess thing??but then i saw some dudes having al lthese cool troops n stuff so i decided to play again. |
well, newb always look for a fastest way to build up a strong id; no matter what online game they are in.
hence, once they 'think' it is 'hard' for initial (in fact, even it is not so hard to learn), they will just quit the game.
so, it is just a common case around online game :\ |
174 referrals and I guess around 130 are still at lev1 |
