| MH Bow doesn't give any damage bonus. Only this: Increases shooting range by 1. |
so if you have the enemy at 7 range then with long bow you deal 50% + 10% f 50% = 55% damage
but if you have cross bow you deal 10% damage thats the only difference i suggest you go for longbow in hunts and quests and cross bow in PVP |
From damage-aspect the Longbow deals the more damage. Most of the time.
In PVP people sometimes counts the squares and stands just out of reach, and with the MH-bow you sometimes fool people.
The MH-bow has a rather low durability though, and isn't well suited for enchanting.

but instead if durability is a problem even a thief bow can be used same result + 3% initiative... its a good option .... though i still suggest you take damage in hunts and quests and range in pvp |
