At what level do Demons begin to use magic? Also what is required to be able to use it? |
Demons cant use magic, but incendaries (upgraded version) can.
Its from level 8 and onwards, they have "explosion" or as some other people call it "inflame". It damages all units around it and can only be used once during a combat. |
for Sven91:
Demons faction, but not demon-unit.
for Wuzznme:
from 5 |
Also what is required to be able to use it?
Build magic guild lvl 1 in your castle, and have at least 1 KN... Or drain enough mana from opponent :P |
Its a good idea to drink a potion of oblivion at level 5 and use spawns to suck even more mana. |
Great advice so far. Thanks all. :)
Demon faction rulez so far. Not the strongest, but way way versatile!
Group battles they seem to really shine. |
i dont think so! i keep losing in group battles n duels! the opponents r always strongest! |

It changes when you get inceds and hell horses ;) Even more on lv9 (doesn't demon get that building which increases the amount of hell horses, on lv9). And on lv10 you get cerberies, those are awesome both in hunts and PvP. |

always losing dosent mean that its bad, use it well
i.e gating, mana destruction, etc |
So with that in mind then, it's probably not wise to spend talent points in anything magic related until lvl 4-5 yeh?
DemonKing,
I had a really hard time in duels until lvl3, but yes we seem to have weaker creatures, so it's about strategy. I got used to recruiting my critters based off of the gait multiplier (25%+4%*[player level]). So for instance I keep 14 hellhounds, 25 demons, and 16 imps. That way I get the maximum amount of each critter in any combat. This allows me also to split them well into groups that will get the same amount of spawns, keeping 1 group of demons with 10. I just find that it's better to get more turns than the other guy. (Correct me if my thinking is wrong here) And in 1v1 pvp I make sue I ALWAYS gait every unit, using my imps to supress archers first to buy time for the slower demons to spawn.
In gb's I play a more supporting role when paired up with anything with ranged ability. I still supress archers with smaller spawns, and save the larger ones for late game spawns. With my origionals, I just add myself to the meatshield and pray I'm paired with a smart player/s. You usually don't have to worry too much about getting picked off before getting your spawns out. |
