Admins don't have to spend more time (only one time job actually) because it can be automated.
If they want to do it, Admins can easily make a database table for blocked players and a small modification, so everytime they blocked a player.. it will automatically update the table.
Just a simple table such as :
BlockedDate - PlayerID - NickName - BlockedReason
Then make a PHP script to show the table... and it's done |
In fact this doesnt have to be transparent.
Admin`s decisions, activity/inactivity has enough criticism already. I cant imagine why they would devote their time to bring them even more criticism.
If you are interested in your friends and their gameplay, you can check them everyday and see when they are penalised/blocked. Other players shouldnt interest you.
I dont see any real advantage of such table of blocked players. I can only imagine multiple players doing Nelson`s(simpsons character) "haa, haa" whenever someone is blocked. :-) |
| in fact many MMOs have shame boards where they post the deleted\banned players. this game is quite different because there is no way you can hide what you have done - one day you will curse or offend someone, and this someone will take his time digging you protocol and showing the world your machinations and cheating. saw this dozens of times, and will see dozens of times more. so beware - one day the war on ru server will come to its end :) |
