ever had someone afk in a group battle and doom u 2 defeat? i think that instead of running away the afk players troops (except thier general) should turn 2 an ally for directions. and the afk will get minimal 2 no exp 4 his abandonment.
gosh, why isn't this idea along with the auto-combat for the afker under the clip? it is maybe the second most frequent after reducing\removing durability of weapons...

I understand that your level is rather low now, and therefore 500 gold is a lot. But understand that in higher levels, 500 gold is NOTHING. Well, maybe a little, but giving a penalty of 500 gold won't do much, trust me.
As for the idea, +1. I see no reason to impose a penalty for the innocent that just happened to be on the afker's team.

the penalty will increase according the lv of the afk and the weapons the opponent player wearing,this way it will be fair enough.for eg,let a lv-12 player be x,and other player be b.x afks and is wearing low arts but the opponent is wearing high,it will imposed a high penalty to x.but still,i think many people don't afk without reason..so it will be bad for them...

if it was a current cut and he is not afk intentionally then how can it be for the innocent.
the only best solution from afk is up your combat level as much as you can

once ur level 8 or above u will see lesser afker
Penalty of 100 gold x combat level should be enough to stop people from doing it on purpose but shouldnt hurt players with bad connection once in a while too much.

Your idea was here before, so its nothing new really. The above mentioned was probably here a dozen times too. Nothing changed yet. Dont keep your hopes up.

I have a simple idea.

How about the setup stage being compulsory. So if a player does not setup, the battle does not happen, they get penalised, and you do not get wear & tear on arts.

In multiplayer, sides can be automatically balanced, so if a player does not setup in a 3v3, a player is dropped at random from the other side at no penalty for them, making it 2v2 etc.
So if a player does not setup, the battle does not happen, they get penalised, and you do not get wear & tear on arts. admins are much more interested in you breaking the arts, obviously. you can't imagine all the tears they shed to introduce the infinite combat timer for solo battles. but to actually revive the PvP battles in LWM they need to go much further, and i believe they will eventually do so.

If you knew you couldn't be doomed to AFK horror (at least at the start of the battle) there'd be more GBs started. More GBs mean more durability used.
They didn't need to do the infinite timer in fact it was one of the aces used before the ru.net competition last year - and it worked very well :)
