If a player agrees to control their units (in options) loses two durablity
Penalty of 100 gold x combat level should be enough to stop people from doing it on purpose but shouldnt hurt players with bad connection once in a while too much
its right but 100 gold should also depend on the level
if its of lvl 8 then the penalty should be of 800x8=6400
Above suggestion makes sense; that would progressively keep raise the fine at the just the right rate.

So penalty should be (Combat level x Combat level) x 100.
I just lost a hunt due to afk. I am lvl5.

It is the biggest problem with this game, IMHO. I'd say 50% of the 3v3 and 33% of the 2v2 battles are determined due to afk.

1) I agree the penalty should be higher. 100 gold per level penalty in addition to the current penalty sounds good. Divide that gold up between the remaining ally or allies.

2) It would be nice to have a "BUZZ" button above the timer, every player gets to use it ONCE per battle on another player when the countdown goes below 15 seconds to wake up another player.

3) Instead of leaving, the units should remain on the battlefield and be controlled by the remaining ally or allies (including the hero, why not?). Any xp, skill points, etc., of the afk player is divided between the remaining ally or allies.
