| why there are no retaliation army for barb and knights......like necro got vampire count,elf got sprite,DE got ladons and shrews(very dangerous),wizards got sphynx guardians.......but dre r not such creatures for barb and knights.....why is it so |
| cause they dont need that ability to be strong, they have other good abilities (Like Unlimited Retalition for Griffins) or (Transport for Rocs)... |

Why grifs have unlimited retalition ability or dive when no one else does?
Why guardians have such vast numbers, great hit points and defence?
These and other questions of this kind dont really have answers. Factions and creatures differ.
For example I would ask why barbarian shooter unit orc chief has initiative 11 when all other shooters(except crossbows which have 8) have 10. |
| but no retal are very useful.......like see for shrews.........the dive is sometimes useless as they consume 2 moves of griffins.....there is a vast no. of skeleton bowmen also wich can be summoned into phantoms......so phantoms are equal to guardians also........u only said.....xbows have 8 initiative.....then? |
that is just for maintaining the balance between .. the games
also this game took inspiration form HoMM series and so the creatures are mostly according to that ....
However i do miss the double strike for guardians in HoMM3 and also double shot for crossbows ^_^
I suggest rather than questioning why the game is in this way ... learn to paly it this way |
The shrews? The shrews are great, but mind that DE has no shooters. Absolutely no shooters. Poisoners are useless, DW are better at casting than shooting actually.
I dont know whats your point..
Knights have strong, sturdy troops; Barbs have great offence and fast shooters, DE have shrews(and thats almost all they have), etc. Every faction has its strengths and weaknesses.
If you cant deal with the fact that other factions seem to have better units, you can change faction. But then you would go, why barbarian cannot cast spells, why necro doesnt have morale, etc. |
