AuthorAfk System
I know its been suggested hundreds of times, but i'm suggesting it again with a few more details because i think it will be very good in group games.

Players should have an option to pre-set the settlement arrangement of their troops, so that during the start if they are afk then their troops will always go into their default arrangement.

Then, if the players are still afk when the game starts, then control of the player's troops and hero will go straight over to one of the other teammates, perhaps depending on which one has the most experience or whatever. If the player ever comes back, then they can take over the troops again from their teammate, and problem solved.

Note, i think that this should only be used for the benefit of the teammates, because it is unfair that they are going to lose because one person isn't there. That means that the afk player still gets all of the penalties for going afk, the afk player gets absolutely no experience from that battle, win or lose, and in duels or all v all games where the player doesn't have any teammates, then the player will just die after 5 turns as normal.

This means that if a player is afk in a group battle, then the teammates still have a chance to win without them, which i think will help a lot of people.

I'd like to add:
About the control - it whould be more fair if the afk player's troops control whould be given to computer(bot) player instead of teammates (like in hunts, the enemies).
good idea
both suggested many times, both negative. if player is not able to be in the battle he shouldn't enter it. the easiest way is go fight alongside your proved friends. autobattle will never be introduced, tho i myself gave an idea of autobattle for boss battles (if they will be introduced eventually), because there every player will make a huge difference. as the practice shows, in the 3x3 battles the side which lost the battler to afk still has the chance to win. besides in PvP mostly the losing side gains more in the means of faction points.
Hellfalcon: I disagree with that entirely. Just saying that players shouldn't be in battle if they're going to go afk, doesn't mean that the players aren't going to still enter battles, and its unfair on the teammates when that happens.

Also, every player does make a huge contribution to any PvP battle. I've never once played a group game where the team that has an afk on it still manages to win. This system will even the odds more and make it more likely that they could win.

Mind, i also disagree with Neria's idea that the bot should control the players. The computer is an idiot with no idea how to work as a team, so any team with a bot on it is going to be at a big disadvantage. Thats why one of the other player's should take control, so both sides remain as equal as possible.
Think about the negative results of your update.Players would join a battle then even if they know that they cant finish it,much of the GBs would loose their sense..at the end there would be 1 player with 3 heroes on hes side lol.

A better thing would be if they only increased the range od penalties for afk..

very good idea
I know there are going to be bad bits about the update, but i still think it would be better than having so many battles where ppl go afk and ruin the entire game. And even just keep increasing the penalties wouldn't work, because it wouldn't solve the problem of ppl who just have bad computers going afk.
no it doesnt depend on penalty

some also gone afk due to power cuts..
so not all r bad at all ..!!
u say if you can't finish a battle don't join. u can sometimes have computer failure. and this is meant to help teamates not the afk player
+1000 best afk idea ever heard

What should be added is if they afk then experience should be reduced for that player like if they had afked now (without this suggestion) and then if they came back recieved partial exp.
