@20. No. Thieving, when you lose, the next time the ambush is easier. Thieving is the one non-PvP thing you can do indefinately.

You don't need money for thiefing :)
IS tat guy nuts !!?!
who will buy that TGI !?! NO ONE !!
He made a big mistake when he entered that rate !!
So sooner or later the economy will dictate that you have to sell your second TGI in order to buy artifacts for MG's and thieving quests ;)

by that time you gain decent LG :) plus trading. there are always some ways to get some money for artifacts without considering TGI as the main source
funny, it is more expensive at .com now that at .ru http://www.heroeswm.ru/auction.php?cat=other&sort=0&art_type=thief_paper
thats cause they have more players who donate and just get their own we do not have that because we never get updates

I know, i m russian and i play also at .ru^^
simple.
prices are too high, people won't buy.
sellers will be forced to lower prices :)

just keep enrolling :)
i got my TGi rented for free in my clan a few months ago... lovely times...

well dont forget in all your discussion that a TGI can only be given back by a player when he reaches TG-level 5 ... and i that takes a lot of time.

Further it was clear that prices would rise... since when i got mine prices have risen by nearly 400%... dont forget they want you to buy diamonds ;)

I've played in about 15-20 MMORPGs, browser-games, etc, etc, and I've never had THIS greedy admins. 80 EUROS? That'd be enough for buying for ex.
- 4 DVD-movies (okay, why not Blue-rays)
- 4 CDs of your favourite artist
- 2 Brand new computer games
- 800 Moomin-lollipops (every1 wants lollipops).

"Lords of War and Money"
appeared in May 2008. It is an non-commercial project, it is a free online service from gamers, for gamers.

Maybe that was the time when Arctic was still here, not anymore though.
Response to #31.

I'm sorry, I must have missed the part where it is mandatory to buy a TGI.

In most "free" on-line games, in-game "benefits", like a TGI, can *only* be obtained through paying real money. Most of the "free" games I have seen, it is not really possible for a non-paying player to compete with another who invests money, because the "benefits" from donating are simply too powerful. Somtimes a few % of initiative will win you the game, but often you won;t even be able to tell the difference between say +10% and +12% initiative. Only those that invest time (or real money) to get a TGI *and* time in leveling their Theives Guild will see any significant benefit.

In LWM you *can* obtain a TGI without having to pay real cash. Unfortunately to do so requires accumulating a substantial amount of in-game gold, which usually takes a lot of time enrolling. But at least you have more than one way of obtaining the TGI. You have your choice, pay 80 Euros, put the effort in to acquire the gold to buy one, or the default; simply don't enter the Theives Guild.

Personally I think taking the time to accumulate the gold is worth it. For anyone considering donating, getting a TGI is now, and always has been, the best way to spend your diamonds.

Don't forget, in theory a single TGI could be propogated to all characters on the server. IMO the admins are betting that there will be enough people that enjoy the game but can't be bothered putting the effort in to buy a TGI with gold. They are hoping to generate enough actual money to cover expenses and maybe some extra to help reward them for the effort of setting this server up in the first place. Just because some people can't be bothered to put the effort in, yet somehow still seem to feel entitled to get a TGI, isn;t really a good reason to call the admins names. Don't like it? Well, there are plenty of other "free" online games out there. Maybe you could try and find one that is willing to pamper your every whim, while you sit there, in no way contributing to it's continued existance. Good luck with that.

I would be intrigued for you to mention just 1 of these 15 - 20 MMORPGs that are oh so foolish to not give donators an incentive to donate.
