AuthorCargo quest
How do I know the difficulty of a cargo quest?
The guild simply tells me to deliver *something* to another location.
Watch the reward. It is high, prepare for a hard fight.
Only way: look at the amount of gold you getlow money = easier, high money = harder. When you tackle more quests, difficulty will rise to a certain point, and then fall back (I think starting point +1).
You can't know the faction you will be facing.
PS For a cargo quest, you need NO artifacts, no AP.

What?

For example: you get elves-brigands 6, then later elves-brigands 7 ...
This quest has a maximum, say elves-brigands 11. The next quest won't be elves-brigands 12, but a new elves-brigands 7.
Can you show me an example from combat log where you have fought elves brigands level 10 and then elves brigands (any number lower than 10?). I am quite sure merc quests dont lower their difficulty no matter how many times you lose them. I hope my "quite sure" is enough..
They dont lower there level like the 7 thing... they just lower the troop count i think
merc quests dont lower their difficulty no matter how many times you lose them very true.
just watch the reward, and better start MG at lvl 8 after you get 25% population raise

You are right. I can't find an example. Probably confused by the changes in reward money.
Off-topic: we need categories in our battle logs. Trying to find something there is a pain.
The problem that can seem very confusing about brigands is so called "dynamic ballance". Most creatures have their counterparts you can get in brigands(and caravans too). Like Cyclops-Orcs, Cavalry-Griffins, Vampires-Ghosts.

The fact that these creatures(and their upgraded little friends) have coeficients like 10 griffins = 3 cavalry(example) can make a lot of difference. Because in particular situations, it is much easier to beat 200 orcs than 50 cyclopses, or 110 griffins compared to 45 cavalry.

Got the point I hope. :-)
better start MG at lvl 8 after you get 25% population raise
Very very wrong
1>25% raise is available at lvl 7
2>MG quests upto level 1 merc guild can be done at lvl 5-6 (some quite easily)
At lvl 7, its alot easier
