First of all, the elf bow isn't the only good thing. If you wouldnt be that.... newbie, you'd know that they have many lightning-speed units, good buffs (druids, light magic), powerful shooters (elfbow, anchos), gargantuar defenders (trees)...
And there aren't so much active players those are elfs. Many people enter to game as elves and don't play anymore, when they see graphics, gameplay, or something. |
Later on all factions become balanced not like level 5 where barb pawns everybody and elf is not weak.
Would be interesting to see def. elf fighting knight on level 14 and i m not sure knight would win easilly. :p |

If you are losing with elf, get some initiative...I used to beat barb at level 5 easily...
a good set is: mastr hunter boots, master hunter bone helmet, hunter shirt, hunter pendant..this will give you a total of 9%
when you get to lvl6, just add a knuckleduster and see the elf might |
i been elf almost all my 2 years of playing this game i love them so may ways to beat your opponent but elf u need to think carefully
low lvs they seem strait forward lv5 they start their many ways to win but how effective the army is by the player not the faction |

Most of the time when I get assist, it's neither DE, nor elf. In short, elves :) |

| my multi use elf...and it easy to use it. |
| don't know - always thought elves are a cheat faction until tried them. on 7th lvl they die out as soon as someone blocks the archers, no need even to kill them. but they grow to be much worse as soon as they get phantoms, unicorns and nasties like dragons along with the high faction level. so grow and let others beware :) |

In my opinion Elves are the best faction for Hunts. They don't do very well when ambushed.
In PVP, Elves are very beatable, provided you hold your nerve.

Holding your nerve will be tough if you see an elf with initiative >13% and luck+3 :P
Also, I am a fan of mass rapid spell...
You get a straight shot from all the druids and archers and imagine a mass rapid on the archers with advanced holy magic>>> |
