I vote yes because it may seem costly from the start, but if a successful thief is made, you could loot some gold. Not only that, everytime you level up in thief guild, you may get a random thief artifact which may worth alot. At TG 5(if i remembered), you could get your very own thief invitation to sell. |

Gold, thief arts, TGI, etc. not really good reasons given the time, effort, arts, and gold you need to invest. (you probably come out ahead if you saved your gold instead). |

it is worth the cost because you get great arts can sell them to a great price, you can a free tgi and sell it to a millionaire and you get bonus parameters too !!!!

TGI is for someone who is really into the game, as the advantages you get from it are more long-term.
Also, az, you forgot to include one very important detail in your first post :)
It is the only form of PvE where the battles get easier when you lose (and that too can be very helpful in the long-term)

| Sooner or later you will always be able to win at thieving. This is great for when you change a faction and want to avoid workability penalty. And initiative bonus. That's enough in and of itself. |
Yes. thieving is the biggest part of this game (in my opinion) and the most fun too :) it's not about the money. remember everybody, that a game is made so you can have fun. and why not waste virtual money to have fun? :))
