i think there should be a bank in lords of war so you could take out loans and things.and so you can put in money so if you get attacked by a thife they wouldnt steal anything but they would automaticly get like some money if they win the attack.
anyway back to the banking so say they could take out a loan if its in between say 1k-5k they have maby 3 days to repay. 5.001k-15k 6 days
15.001k-30k 1 week and 3days
30.001-50k 2 weeks
50.001-100k 3 weeks
100.001k-200k 4 weeks
lvl 10+
300-500k 1month
(remember these are maximum times not minimum)
this is the problem though i dont know what to do if they dont pay back lol
well i have 1 idea they have to continue to play or they will get banned for a few days (matters about how much they didnt pay)if its alot of money say 200k forever they are banned
unless they have a very good reson
and if they have enof money and they are not online and it comes to the day when they have to pay back the bank will automaticly take it but will disable them from taking more for a day for somthing.

I've mentioned this before but many complaints. still i think its a very good idea, although i wouldnt think someone would borrow so much money and get banned for no reason.

1) If a thief ambushes you and you have 0 gold, you will get negative gold. This has always been true. Otherwise, where would the gold come from? Empire?
2) Your bank idea is for loans. Firstly, i would like to ask why would anyone take a loan? maybe for loss of gold, but if so, they would take the loan - then fail to return it because they would have lost it all again via. gambling and such. They would still have no money, except this time it would be worse - this time they have no money AND a loan to repay. Plus, you have no idea what to do when they don't repay. Your idea is that they would continue to play if they have no money... - then let's all take a small loan of 1k and don't pay it back - yay, we just got richer by 1k!
3) Your idea of storing gold is rendered useless due to number 1.
4) This has been suggested before, both the storing of gold and the renting.
4a) The storing of gold states that you would gain a 0.1% interest or something to that extent. This idea is silly because there are people with 1 million gold and 0.1% of that is..1k, and that's 1k per month for free. And many players have much more than 1 million (as shown by estates)
4b) The loaning of gold has been suggested before, and states that failure to return the loan would equal to you being automatically deducted of your gold, bringing your gold into negative. This also causes the same conclusion as number 2: They would still have no money, except this time it would be worse - this time they have negative gold.
5) -1. This idea should not be implemented at all.
Oh yeah, 6) Your idea is such that the loaning of gold is porportional to the time given to rent it. Let's say I need 1k gold. Instead of loaning 1k gold, I loan 100.001k such that I have 4 weeks to return it. I will only use 1k gold, but this time instead of 3 days I have 4 weeks.
6) 4 weeks is practically equal to a month. |

What does it matter where the gold comes from. Gold is not fictional, and both empire and bank are fictional too. They can have as much gold as the admins write at their profiles.. |
