What are the types of quests?

There are 6 types of quests

1: Raids –

Numerous stacks of 'Elven bowmen {0}' are going to attack the '#15 - Ore pit'. We don't know the numbers exactly, but you must strike them and destroy each and every one! Smash them on advance, you have '120' minutes.

Here you face a single type of enemy in multiple waves,
Number of waves = level of raid + 2.
Basically something like a hunt.

2: Army –
This is how an army quest looks like.

We've got trouble: 'Silent Hill' location is occupied by a huge 'Army of dark elves {13}'. Crush it! You have 5 attempts and 300 minutes for all and sundry.

Here the player gets to face a huge army of a single faction.
There are multiple tries for the army quests and the time limit is also different

Army {0} – Army {3} = 3 tries and 180 mins
Army {4} and Army {5} = 4 tries and 240 mins
Army {6} and above 5 tries 300 mins

(I have forgotten the attempt-level relation, feel free to correct if wrong)

Whatever you kill in a single attempt, stays dead and you start the next attempt with lesser enemies.
Be warned though, if you are a living faction (all but necro) and you face army of necro, the skele bowmen will be raised using your fallen troops. So don’t be surprised if a skele stack you killed returns in the next attempt.

The troop setup stays the same, the numbers however increases.

4: Vanguard –

Here you protect allied units from vanguard of X faction
These are the following types :
1 protect farmers from knight vanguard
2 protect merc archers from wiz vanguard
3 protect grandmaster bowmen from DE vanguard
4 protect magi from necro vang

Eg.
An urgent dispatch from 'Ridge of Hope': a small group of our allies, the 'Magi', is under attack of 'Vanguard of necromancers {8}'. Those who have managed to escape have taken shelter in the mountains and are waiting for help. Go there immediately and deal with the enemy together! You ought to prevent the death of our allies. You have no more than 120 minutes.

The enemy composition stays the same here.

5: Monsters –

A couple of villages in 'Ridge of Hope' are attacked by 'Cerberi-monster {0}' daily. Innocent inhabitants continue to disappear! Hurry over there and deal with the monster! You have 120 minutes.

You fight a single huge monster creature with titanic stats.

6: Brigands

Nowadays, roads are dangerous, and the merchants are seriously worried about the safety of their cargo. You will have to escort a caravan until 'Blooming Glade'. Start making your preparations now, the merchants need to arrive there in 120 minutes.

These are the delivery mission, or the protect cargo missions
Here you are ambushed by a brigand belonging to a random faction. Not knowing what the enemy will be from before makes this one of the most challenging types of quests.

Once you defeat the brigand and reach the destination, you will have to “Hand over Cargo” in the map page to complete the quest, and then report back t the guild.

Also note that the enemy troop composition varies.

There is also a very rare chance that you will not be ambushed at all. In that case, Enjoy the free point.


Locations of Quests:
The army, vanguard and monster quests are located in a map region. “Start the quest” button is seen in the map page itself.

For invaders and raids, you will have to enter the specific mining facility in the map location.

The brigands quests begin as you travel from yellow lake to target destination.

3: Invaders –

'Wizards-invaders {6}' have captured the '#23 - Sulphur dune'. Deal with them as soon as you can, and your reward will be waiting for you! You have 120 minutes.

This is a single attempt quest where you face a mixed bag of troops belonging to a single faction.
Unlike armies, the troop composition and setup can vary.

What does the number in {} mean ?

Each time you are given a quest from the guild you will notice a {x} following it. That denotes the level of the quest. All quests start at level 0. Successful completion means that the next time you are given the same quest, you will get level {1} {2} and so on.

You guessed it right, the difficulty increases with the level.
If you lose a quest, the level doesn’t decrease, it stays the same. Eg you lose to army of elves {5} so the next time you face will face {5} again.
Also losing a quest does not make it easier the next time.

Rewards:
The guild rewards you with some gold when you report a successful quest.
You get 1 mercenary guild point per quest completed.
Also a random chance to get elements.

Mercenary Guild points:
These points are quite valuable, at lv 2 and lv 4 of merc guild you get 1 basic parameter point to spend on your choice of stats.

Elements
10 types of elements can be obtained from the guild
These are:
Meteorite Shard, Toadstool, Fire Crystal, Ice Crystal, Abrasive, Viper Venom, Windflower, Witchbloom, Tiger Claw and Moonstone.

Elements are required for enchanting artifacts.

Reputation
Reputation is obtained as follows
+ 0.5 rep for every successful quest
- 0.5 rep for every quest you decline
- 1 rep for every quest you lose

Each 0.5 reputation decreases the waiting time between 2 quests by 1 min.
Max rep is 10 points
So,
0.5 = 39 min waiting
1.0 = 38 min waiting
.
..
...
10 rep = 20 min waiting time
