A resources can be sold at a factory if both of the following two conditions are met:
i) the factory needs that resource <=> on the factory page, in the "Required for production per unit" table the "In stock" cell for that resource shows something like X/Y (amount in stock/maximum in stock), if Y<X it means that the stock is not full so that resource can be sold there
ii) the factory has enough gold to buy that resource <=> on the factory page, where it says "Balance", the value there must be than the higher price for the "Buying price" from the "Required for production per unit" table at the row of the resource you're trying to sell.
If these conditions are both met for a resource, you will see an option on the factory page to sell that resorce. |
