I love jade cocoon. I've restarted it like 3 times but never get around to beating it. Last time before I unlocked everything in the first portal I got stuck only being able to go to the 2nd one (the one on the right). However I do plan, once I get my own copy, to start again for the 4th time cause I like it that much.
Monster Rancher hands down has to be one of the best most fun games EVER!! And equally as hard to find :(

| I did like part 8 but for my taste, it was far too short :( I would have liked to played it for at least 200 hours trying to achieve all the little secrets of the game and mini games instead of a measly 32. But thats just my humble opinion. |

Now I remembered another which did EVENTUALLY get popular, Disgaia.
I remember I use to see at least 5 copies of that game at an EB (Electronics Boutique) or Game Stop (same company as EB just decided to change their names after something or another)...and each game would be 2.99 or 4.99 depending on the condition.
Then after part 2 came out and the anime became aware to the public eye due to magazines such as EB (hehe, go figure) the game SHOT WAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY, like WAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY up. Couldn't find a $20 classic version of it because it never sold that many copies to begin with but the cheapest after the hype was $40!!! |

SNES version for me..... many many fond memories and replay value
You could try the new version for Nintendo DS or whatever it is, more endings, more quests added.

| Yeah, I've been telling my girlfriend for like 8 months I need a game boy or something for when she's watching her girl shows. And hearing bout a remake of Chrono for sure makes me wanna get one even more. |

| Yup Suikoden 2 have the best story i ever seen... Suikoden 1 is also great. However other Suikodens(3,4,5) are really bad but they are for ps 2. Also like FF series finished FF 8 like 5 times. xD |

| Well it is still good story, better graphic as it is 3d but you can play 3 characters and i hate that part. Map moving is like on Legend of dragon. Battles look like FF series... Anyway it is not bad but too much stuff taken from other games so not uniqe anymore. :p |
I've only played Suikoden Tactics, kinda interesting but not that much.

there was a game for the ps1 waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy back in the day, like...at least 11 years ago (up to maybe 14 yrs) that I'm trying to remember the name of..
...all I remember is that it was a traditional turn based strategy rpg game in which you got to totally customize your spells. I think you combined elemental crests or something like that to make different spells and you could also control the range, effect patterns but to get a bigger range or effect pattern you'd have to upgrade the spell...something like that.
