Uhm... no contest. obviously Ichigo would win especially given all the new powers he gained in the past few seasons.
Now if you compared Ichigo season 1 vs Sephiroth, then it would be much more of a debate. For example maybe Sephiroth can't see spirits, so Ichigo would be invisible. Or maybe Sephiroth don't even have enough spirit power to even physically affect Ichigo. Or instead maybe Sephiroth's aoe powers would just immediately kill the fledging Ichigo? |

hehe, Sephiroth almost ascended to godly status and actually is seeing as for as long as evil exists in mans hearts, he will continually arise for there is no end to mans thirst for war and power.
So...I think considering he almost evolved to a god he would have a fine tuning into the spirit world.
You don't have to take my word on him, just google him or wikepedia, it will show his many powers.
This battle goes really hardcore if you understand the true meaning of Sephiroth's powers versus that of Ichigo, but I'm as far as Ichigo going to Bonkai and his Hollow form.
So in essence its a wanna be god (sephiroth) vs a death incarnate manipulator of demonic powers. Sephiroth can sway those of evil, cuz he has an evil Bruce Norris mind control ray.

Yeah, I played FF7, I think most of Sephiroth's supposed powers are more propaganda and fear. This is how they build up suspense and make the main characters sound cool when they finally win. As for Ichigo I would bring up the same thing when he defeated that menos in the beginning. They made it sound like 1 menos = a full army and that absolutely no one no matter how powerful they are can defeat a menos.
Then you flash forward a few seasons ahead (by the way I watched Bleach when there was only 1 episode out) and suddenly Ichigo along with everyone else are easily killing menos left and right.
Most of Sephiroth's powers are nothing more than abilities and not pure power. I would attune them to more similar to magic tricks.
Since you are referring to evil, gods, demonic power, etc. as if having such makes one the Devil (aka almost as good as God), then I would say Zeromus (FF2) would beat Sephiroth easily. |
hmmm, you bring up many interesting points.
My reversal would be, how many meno's do you think Sephiroth could easily defeat.
I think that the brother of Rukia ( have not a clue on if that is correct spelling of name or not) is an indirect interpretation of Sephiroth.

And the box cover could be a semi-close up shot of sephiroth's and Ichigo's face, eyes staring at each other, with blades crossed against each other's face. a white blackground with materia streaks behind sephiroth, and a randomly streaked black background with a red aura (signifying getsuga tenshou) surrounding the perimeters of the black streaks for ichigo.
And then, we play out the winner. Lol. |
