my barbarian faction level is 4.
so i'm supposed to be 5%+(6%*4)=29% resistant to magic.
i want to know what exactly this means?
is it like,say,some troops deal 100 damage by some nature magic spell on any other faction, on me only (100-29)=71 damage is dealt.
is it something like that? |

yes magic defence or magic proof reduice the magic damages with this formulla : Total damages * (1 - (5%+(6%*faction level)))
so in your case : total damages * (1 - 0.29) = total damages * 0.71
Two exceptions must be noticed :
- Pierce from DE and arts, reduice your proof
- Magic punch ignore your magic proof.

that's why the magic punch damage is not reduced in my case.
