you can enter tourny since level 3. All you need is to pay the enter fee and wear some Artifact shop arts (do not wear Hunter arts).
Survival tourny is against AI not against players.
Hunting is fighting creature you can find on the map. Hunts will give you Hunter Guild points usefull to earn some extra Attack point.
