Because necro players can use it to get lots of free mana: vamp waits, gets hit, gives mana, retals and regains life,..... (repeat).
It meant that players who wanted to win survival, had to play very long matches (several hours for 1 fight).
It is an attempt to give every player a fair(er) chance, not only players with lots of time.
They removed another talent as well from wizards/DE/necro: mana recovery. Apparently, on the russian server one wiz battle lasted for 8 hours... |
