Author | difficulty in the demon war combats |
Hi,
Check these two combats:

https://www.lordswm.com/warlog.php?lt=-1&warid=26494383
I deliberately entered alone in those combats (by asking my clan mates not to join me). I don't care I lost in both cases, but, how is it possible such a discrepancy in between the two combats difficulty? I mean, I didn't won the first to have my difficulty increased and even if I would have won the first, it's a huge leap in difficulty in between the two combats.
Please, consider more rational choice of difficulty level. Thank you!
Cheers,
CGSMCMLXXV | It's all relative. There is such thing as dynamic balancing, you must be aware of it already. It supposes partial replacement of one creature type by another according to certain coefficients. This can make certain combat party more, or less defeatable depending on the lord's faction.
For example. The first combat party counts 53327 hp, whereas the second one is only 27714. Guess which one a wizard with good spells would prefer? ;)
Nothing wrong here. | I'm guessing the wizard would choose more archers and more efreeti... Sorry, Arctic, but it gives me hard time to believe that. | Dynamic balancing is automatic, it does not occur according to players' wishes :)
Believe it or not, but according to the game balance coefficients (those coefficients we are recruiting armies by) - those armies are nearly equivalent.
It's not that you had bad luck in the second time.
It's that you had good luck in the first. | closed by Arctic (2011-01-11 03:00:22) |
