Laborors Guild

AuthorLaborors Guild
It has come to my attention that in order to obtain level 12 laborers guild, once must enroll 30000 times, that’s 30000 hours. Doesn't that seem, excessive? Think about it, the average player, lets say, plays 6 hours a day, give or take. If we consider that, in one year your average player will earn 2190 laborers points. Less than a tenth of the needed requirement. Meaning that your average player will need just over 10 years to achieve level 12 laborers guild.

Looking at many top players, some have barely reached the 1/3 mark and have been playing for quite some time, I don’t know about you, but spending 10+ years to achieve 30000 hours is very time consuming.

If you look at other guild requirements, to achieve the maximum level or close to it; your average player may need to play 2-3 years, which is very reasonable!

But 30000 skill points (hours) is too much. Even for players who say play 12 hours a day, they would only get 4380 points in a year, and still would need a ways to go. But as they get older, they will have less time to play (responsibilities).

All I am saying is, the Dev team really needs to look into lowering the amount of skill points needed. If we are assuming your average player will reach maximum level in most guilds in 2-3 years, a fair number (just my opinion as an example) would be around 8000.

I hope I am not violating rule #8, since I don't suggest in changing any formulas.
Why? Who says there won't be people who still play this game in 10 years?

LG 12 is MEANT to be an excessive goal, I'm sure admins know that most players will never reach this. But what's your problem? Do you aim to raise every guild level to the maximum and are scared now this could destroy your social life? ;)

Thats not the point, it is absurd to make an achievment to take 10 years to achieve. If a player has been playing for 10 years at a constant rate then that player should have long been maxed out for each guild. There is nothing wrong with having players "maxed" at levels after 4 years.

As i said, if other skills take 2-3 years to fully max, it should be the same for laborers guild.

I'm sure admins know that most players will never reach this

Thats awful than, that completly ruins the point of role playing games then. The whole point is to have players achieve the highest level after a lot of work, but not having to play a decade to do it. There has to be a reasonable timeline for each level to be maxed.
Yea, I have to agree on this one. 30000 is kind of ridiculous.

If this game still exists in 10 years, there will be players who will have achieved this, believe me. If it's absurd to play this game 10 years 12 hours daily, is worth another discussion. Probably not here, but on the couch of a therapist. xD

30000 is kind of ridiculous.

Call me "Mrs. Know-it-all" (well better don't do it to avoid a forum ban ;), but:

That is exactly what newbies will say about combat level 16, 17 or higher in the future.

6 3000 2 +1 defense
7 5000 2.2
8 8000 2.4 +1 defense
9 12000 2.6
10 17000 2.8 +1 defense
11 23000 3
12 30000 3.2 +1 defense

If you have a look at the steps to reach each LG level, 30k is balanced. If we discuss about the total reformation of LG, we step out of forum rules.

No offense intended. :)

Thats a good thing since we don't want to lvl up fast. Also as CL increases, so does the exp you earn. But not so with LG.
So +1
+1 - 30k hours is totally unreasonable. Maybe there should be an option to upgrade LG level through gold/diamond donations/achievement rewards/quests or otherwise.
Believe it or not, some players actually average 14 enrollments per day, consistently for a long time (hint: look at some high level smiths/enchanters). These players will reach max LG in 6 years. This goal is quite doable for them.
+1 30 000 hours is excessive

30000 is kind of ridiculous since the other golas can be achieved easily...hmmm another dumb aspect of admins of making money?they think we are gonna buy more diamonds?

I want to see that player who will reach HG 12 or TG 12 before LG 12. Admins just put a goal in the far future for some guilds, laborer included, nothing unusual for me.

Yes, LG 12 may take years upon years. But that just means that the game is planned to last years upon years.

The admin could have just left the experience table at LG 9 and stopped. That's 12000 points, and by your numbers = 5+ years. which IS a lot of time.

But then there are players that HAVE reached those kind of numbers. Won't these players start complaining that there's nothing after LG 9? Thus the creation of LG 10,11 and 12.

Labourers' guild: 9 (15322) +1678
That's 15322 points in 2 years and 8 months.

Its not unachievable. It's not ridiculous. Some people are hardcore enough to reach it and ask for more. But the next few levels have to be exponentially incremental, thus the numbers that seem out of reach for the normal players, but will be reached by the hardcore players in about 3 more years or less.
Meaning that your average player will need just over 10 years to achieve level 12 laborers guild.

I like long-term projects. It's nice to have the future planned ahead.

"Social life"!... interesting concept. What does it mean?

Btw, I think it's fine as it is. And one of these days I actually came across a CL8 player with LG lvl 9. I don't remember the name, though, but he's out there.
