i dont think its going to be all that bad really with "more" or new" cheaters during the intermission of new admin or new admin liason... besides... in reality the cheaters help this game along... LOL hold on let me explain...
the more cheating or illegal accounts made keep the population big in numbers... specially with new player accounts... granted this only looks good on paper but in other ways "mulitis" keep the game going cause with out the multi cheaters or finacial support cheats... there would be even less opponents for them pvp hardcore folks so they would just complain more ..... so in all seriousness this is not going to be so horrible or bad the changeing of the guard as it were.... We will miss arctic... but who knows our new Admin/Mod/Game organizing director might earn our love and trust really fast :P lets hope and see |

more cheaters will do the following
eat up the places to work.buy up all the good arts,which will drive the prices of them up even higher than they are already
make an Admins just ever harder when we eventually get one
and PVP which I for one cannot take part in because I simply cannot afford arts,the cheaters will have the best of everything in no time making it harder for those few of us that are honest to beat |

acually i dont think the game is doomed... in fact i think the game will be here for quite along time.... as for new folks history already shows that 90% of new players stop playing after they race to level 5 maybe 6 and then they either quit all together or they start a new character cause its bascially free to battle below level 5...
if you want more players at higher levels... then you have to make it more compatible with the casual gamers or the folks that just refuse to waste their time of enroll 100 times hunt 100 times and go wooo i have just spent 100 hours of my time i can finally afford to do some full art pvp... oh wait... i still dont have enough cause i had to keep the min arts repaired just so i can do hunting. |
as for the cheaters are bad... ofcourse they are bad.... but they make the numbers look good.... as in when the admins look at the pure data of new accounts created they see it as new blood and interest in the game... but they dont see that its false untill the at they look at higher levels and go... ummm why dont we have more activity at higher levels...
either way... the game will change or it wont... i have been waiting patiently have with hope and faith that the gold issue would be fixed.. cheaters would be punished and our population would grow for almost 2 years now..... and almost 2000 dallors i have donated to this game in that time....but now i sit back and watch and tinker.... no more donating no more hope or faith... i just enjoy killing NPC stuff and maybe be around if and when the next event like demons comes around... i just keep getting really frustrated cause folks keep complaining about the same old things but when they hear what would fix the issue they get defensive cause they feel if they can succeed then anyone can... well sad but true... not everyone has 12+ hours aday they can log on games not everyone can access the internet when ever they want... some folks just like to have fun and dont want to have to invest 100+ hours before they can fight on fair battle grounds. |
