Dwarves are generally noted for their fine and mystical art of metallurgy. Maybe when the [friendly] dwarven race is discovered, they will share with the other races some of their secrets.
Henceforth the Empress decrees the day to shall be known as DIY day. Each anniversary all Lords of the Empire will enjoy FOC repairs. :D

It'll be good, but selling and re-buying would still be more efficient durability-wise (though no longer cheaper) unless the 50% repair and above people also do not charge you for the repairing.
Think of if the 90% repair people still charged you 120% repair cost listed but they repair for free?
You'll only repair your own stuff (if you have no smith ranks) at only 10% efficiency. Even for free, it'll hurt your durability and all.
I rather have No Durability Loss Days. Would fit rather well with Let's-All-GB-In-Max-AP-Day... |

Most players are Smith guild 0, so they repair 10% for free (on this free repair day). Doesn't really make a difference from the existing 10% repairing on the services forums, even 20% repairs have offered free repairs.
IF the "Day of free repair" comes to pass AND the smiths DO NOT reduce their prices, then only the smiths benefit since cost of repair is not changed for the regular players (free 10% repair) |
