| hi ive noticed this problen these days. today we havent had more than 1k players at a time! |
Some of them forget thier password,vacation,Blocked,penalty with high gold and dont want to play.
Hey,if there your friends have internet at home,try to invite them.we need more people to do GB,duels,and many more also hunts. |

| that's how it is. When we have events or any thing new the number of players online around to 1400. When nothing's new it is like that. But seriously...you can'tcompare that to last year. We had 2 events in a row 2 months ago :) |

When I saw the title, I thought that the thread is gonna talking about few players spending real-life money on virtual goods here.
Coming back to the topic, there aren't much we can do to help it besides inviting friends or posting LWM advertisement on your blog or whatever site to promote it.
Just look at your daily activaties in LWM:
1. Thief caravan (for those in tg already)
2. enrolling
3. resource-selling (difficult to resell resources to facilities these days)
4. tavern game. (u will get sick of it after playing few times in a row.)
5. MQ (Either give up or accept. Either succeed or fail.)
6. Chatting in inquiry room.
7. GB??? (Lots of player have to save up gold to buy their desired full arts set.)
It is known that everyone can play with min AP in GB. However... sometimes, u put the description, "Min AP only", and u can still get some extra guys who joined in with full arts. (They just want to win. -_-)
8. CG
9. Keep losing the battle. (for that special guy in LWM.)
10. Go to forum.
11. Do Hunt.
How frequently do u get a hunt at high or mid level that is not too insane for u to kill without buying hunter license? |

i hope the game wont die out. but it could cause of many "mistakes" it has.
1. too many bann's and block's
2. they suddenly increased TGI price (x3)
3. and they decreasd the wage for enrolling at the same time
4. no chance for new players to make hunt records (cause of update)
5. no free estates (1 million cost)
6. not possible for players, famalys to share a computer (fear of a bann)
7. a very bad system for group battles (unfair battles cause of AP and afk)
8. some rude admins in forum
10. they ignoring ideas & suggestions from forum
11. ... many more (see forum^^)
now you can calculate yourself why noone is joining the game. they have to enroll 4 years to buy a TGI and an Estate for example. and they will get many banns at least in the forum in that time and they dont know if there is suddenly a new update who changes everything...
for example when you sell your TGI for 300'000 gold and the next time you log in its 1'200'000 worth. wouldn't you stop playing aswell? ;) |

| I remembered the low-level days when I do gb. Even though I am low on gold at that time, I am enjoying myself because of the battles. Now, I am worried that if I am to go gb again, my gold would depelete soon as I need to repair them. Then, I turn to hunt and MQ for some battle fun. However, both of them are getting harder or sometimes impossible to do (have to give up or pass). So less battles per hour but more tavern and enrolling...... bored. |
| Earning gold in this game takes a lot of time.And most artifacts are quite costly. And on the top of it there is the compulsory minimum artifacts rule and the workaholic penalty.These are few of the main reasons why new players leave soon. |

I ever try to invite new player to join this game but they leave from this game cause not good at english ( Player from Thai only :P )
By the way I think it's better if many player who have blocked or penalty with high gold, come back to play this game again.
I ever cheating in this game then I have blocked, But I come back to play this game again with new character. I hope they will come back to play this game again with out cheating :) |
| The style of this game isn't suited for many. Players who are looking for long hours of fast-paced gaming experience aren't going to find it here. The slow levelling speed is also another huge turn-off for people who like to see their efforts quickly rewarded. And as already mentioned, it isn't very newbie friendly. New players face plenty more disadvantages than older players. |

1) Maybe players shouldn't cheat so much, or show better manners on the forums.
2) It's the players who control the prices of TGIs, not the admins. As long as TGI resellers keep up their work, their prices will keep increasing. Personally, I want to sell my TGI for as low as possible when I finally get it. I know how difficult it is to get a TGI :)
P.S. Having a TGI isn't necessary to play the game. It is a luxury, and not something to ABSOLUTELY MUST have :)
3) Admins have said they have a reason for this, perhaps some new gold gathering system for the near future...
4) With all the new arts and new enchantments available, I hardly doubt that...true, it's very hard to break the records of levels 1 and 2, but it only gets easier from then on out.
5) And what exactly would be the point of giving estates away for free?...It's not even necessary for gameplay.
6) It IS possible for families to play from the same PC/connection. As long as they follow all the rules they don't need to fear being blocked.
7) AFK players are punished for their lack of sportsmanship (as long as it was deliberate) and if you want to fight in GBs where all the players are present then pm players you know beforehand to plan the GB. There are ways to weed out afk players.
8)I'm sorry, but I've never known an admin to be 'rude'...if you mean moderators then you can file a complaint against them if you want to.
9) oh wait...there's no number 9 :/
10) They have taken ideas from that forum before and implemented it into the game (they did the same thing with the latest update, on a smaller scale) Just saying that they don't ignore the forum completely.

I only recently got a TGI. Before that, I won my fair share of PvP even without the extra initiative. It is true that the extra initiative you get from the Thieves' guild is an advantage, but it is not quite as noticeable in big group battles as it is duels. The amount and level of thieves increase as you level up, but the arts and enchants you can use also increase so again the advantage Thieves get is muffled. As to having an advantage in tourny's, I can't deny that. That extra ini might be the difference between surviving that last wave and going down in the onslaught. However, EVERY player now has the option of gtting 'unfair' advantages that comes in the form of diamond upgrades, so I can't see why people would complain about it.
TGIs (and even diamond upgrades, up to a point) are a luxury, and not necessary to enjoy this game. It does affect gameplay. It does give you an advantage but not to the extent you claim. Those who have gained the use of such luxuries did so because of their own hard work. I know what it took for me to collect the 1 mil gold for my TGI and I know that I fully deserve that +1% extra initiative I now have :/
As to TGI prices, I'm not sure about this but I think I read somewhere that the absolute minimum price for a TGI is 700k (might be wrong) So yes, players have a huge control over the TGI market since they're currently selling for several hundred thousand gold more than they can sell it for.
This is just my opinion, but I never intended to get my original 1mil gold back. As far as I'm concerned, that money is long gone and any additional gold I make from thieving (selling thief arts/caravan gold/selling TGI) is just a bonus that I'm happy to keep :) |
