DE magic will b weak against barb also as the hav resistance..
compare to wiz, DE do have better elemental dmg output in pvp due to magic pierce ability.
the difference is chaos DE can focus on high dmg output to wipe opponents out asap, you dont have much troops amount for you to stay on battlefield long. and, i m sure your opponents wont let you stay long as well.
chaos wiz focus on hit and run, drag the battle longer until the battlefield become less obstacle for its garg (equip with good mini arts) to free running around while dmg enemy. |

Thats exactly the problem with Mage DE as it dont hav High HP or magic resistance troops like enchanted garg {which is immune to almost everything} he will b out of the battle very soon.
Therefor in PVP Mage DE is weak then Wiz I guess.
1 thing I would really appreciate if ne 1 can post battle links of mage DE (Chaos & Dark build - Both) winning a PVP.

Me too searching for a dark mage winning a PvP. I was planning to take
basic off+ batte fury & basic darkness + dom of mind and 3sp and 4 know to cast mass delay and confusion. Will it be good in min/max AP PvP? I know in will be very weak in hunts but not sure about PvP. Also will reducing dark talent points from 8 to 7 change anything? |

Yes DE cannot stay for long but it can deal extremely strong spells quickly! this doesn't mean that wizards is a better caster than DE! they both are good and strong and under same conditions both can be hard to defeat! If DE doesn't have high HP or magic resistance troops that doesnt mean that it is a crappy magic faction no!

Magic DE is great for PVP but you need to first pick the right talents, points selection (spellpower and knowledge) and know what to cast on first.

in fact, DE has variety of option for different style.
the only problem is most DE players were just limit themselves on 1 way but refuse to try or explore other way.

yes, they might die very fast. so, to overcome this problem, all you have to do is get your strongest spells (that's why elemental call talent for) AND throw them all to your opponents. make sure they die faster than you, then case closed :)
chaos wiz cant deliver as high dmg as chaos DE. that's why they have to apply hit and run, to stay longer on battlefield. |

Diamond did give him advantage. But it was not enough to cover 18% faction resistance DE had while he had no faction resistance.

Nonsense, a lot of people do not chose their faction purely upon what is the most powerful but what they liked most.
Demons are arguably one of the strongest factions but got the lowest amount of players overall.
Elves are pretty medicore overall mainly due to their low HP they bring on the battle field yet are the
And if factions would be balanced every faction would have a 50/50 chance to win against every other faction in a duel and only AP and player skill would matter which is not the case at all. |
