Any use of poisoners except high initiative?
Shud i construct them at my level? |
as i mention before, poisoners are quite useful to take retal and let lizard charge without waiting.
some player do use poisoner against elf.
their poisonous attack kill elf fragile unit fast.
conclusion:get them if you can afford them. each unit has their own role in the battlefield |

Try getting tactics and hitting druids with shrews at first turn..
Block using slow troops like hydras and minos
And your lizards should move to hit the druids at the next turn.. I prefer killing/blocking druids early rather than killing faeries and EFK first.. |
Elemental Call is a two edge sword and needs to be used cautiously.
While you deal 50% more damage per spell, you can only cast half as many damage spells.
Ergo your overall damage gets reduced to 75% if all your spells
I'll show you what I mean mathematically.
Imagine you got 20 Mana and your Lightning deals 100 damage per cast.
Since it costs 5 Mana you can cast Lightning 4 times for 400 damage done.
With Elemental call you can cast two Lightnings for 150 damage but overall only 300 damage done.
300 damage done = 75% of 400 damage done.
On the plus side, you dealt 300 damage in 2 rounds while without Elemental Call you can deal 200 damage only in 2 rounds but you last 2 rounds longer.
So especially in long drawn out battles like bigger hunts using Elemental Call is more often than not unwise. |
