I changed to a demon, what strategies to use? |
Atack ;]]] |
gee,thanks genius |
Actually since the recent change the Demon faction isn't about attacking anymore. You are just sitting and waiting till the Combat readiness is high enough to make more damage than you would with just attacking around.
The problem is that no one has high enough faction points to reach this point. |
for Arghmage:
You mistook Demon faction for Barbarian faction.
Combat Readiness is the ability of Barbarians and not Demons. |
My mistake. Demons are not "attack only". They have a huge set of strateges (gate/spells and so on). |
spells?
disruption ray, disruption ray and disruption ray :) |
how do you get spells? |
you cant use spells at this level;) |
Split up Imps, inorder to take retal.
Splits of 3-4 is usually good, as gating succession rate is also high with 3-4 imps, so u can have higher number of troops. Splitting up Demons is actually not that useful as at your level they act more as tanks.
Due to their lack of initiative its most probably useless splitting Demons.
First turn, like every other demon would go in Gating, then the same old Ram onto your opponent strategy if your opponent has ranged units, or wait until the opponent gets into range, so you can take retal with imp and then attack with Demon in case of those factions that yet dont have ranged units. |
hey, what faction is strongest at lvl 5? |
Barbarian! |
hey, what faction is strongest at lvl 5
the brain faction |
there is no strongest faction but here from my point of view are the advantages of factions
knights: griffins have high ini and with luck they can do good damage
swordsmen are a tank high attack and defence with stun
bowmen are a pretty sturdy range troop though low hp is a
disadvantage
the problem is that knights need high faction skill points to be good
demon: succubi are a good ranged troop with ranged retalition which really
helps
wolfhounds are very powerful with high attack
demon are like a tank with lots of numbers and can do nice damage
spawns are good if you can afford them with mana convey and high damage
barbarian: ogres have high hp and are very powerful with knockback
orcs are excellent shooters with no melee penalty
wolf riders aren't good at this level with low hp and defence
hobs are excellent if they strike first but beware of retal as low hp
wizard: good in pve because of extra spell damage but at lower levels can
easily get slaughtered all troops are best played defensively most
of the time as low attack is usually the case
necromancer: with high faction skill points skeleton bowmen can be quite
powerful
vamps are good because of health regenaration but they arent
that powerful
ghosts are powerful but have low hp but that is countered by
being incorpreal
dark elf: lizard cavalry are good in attack generally with high hp
minos are again a tank with high attack that is very handy
rogues are pretty weak at this level but can be helpful in some
cases
elf: druids are very powerful if in 1 stack shooting from close range
elven bowmen with their great 2 shots are extremely powerful with high
attack
forest keepers are very powerful with luck or critical damage
and thats my rough guide to life as a level5 :) |
lvl 3 now? |
nvm |
