I really think we need to change a little about this... to allow for the occasionally mishap that probability guarantees with today's technology! Why because I was literally 10 seconds from winning a game when I got a power cut, and by the time everything was back up... I lost the battle and it's not like I even had to do much, the first computer ever could have won it for me.

So I'm asking if it's possible to...
1) Turn on AI after the 4-wait thing....
2) Allow more waits! I mean with only for it means that anything short of a fly hitting your face results in an instant loss of battle, you probably won't be able to go to the toilet with 4 waits....
3) GRADUALLY kill off the users troops after the required amount off waits, note gradually... so in similar situations,
the outcome is fairer!

They're just suggestions, I still have to deal with my -2 luck and all that but I hope they're considered!

I sympathize with your case, similar situations have happened to me more than once.
I am a highly active player and so, every time I loose my internet connection, I may end up forfeiting a game.

However, I would estimate that per every time this legitimate AFK due to connection/power problems or perhaps just IRL emergency happens, there is a dozen of cases when the AFK just didn't want to fight or forgot they entered themselves into a fight.
In such cases, it would be unfair to others to make them wait while your troops slowly melt away.
Consider a case when 4 players enter a 2 on 2 combat and 1 of them is absent. It would normally take 5 turns and about 10 minutes for that player to drop and let the others finish the game and be free. With a "melting away" system which destroys 25% of the troops, it may take 20-30 turns and 40-60 minutes before the AFK player is ousted. By the time it is over, 1 or 2 more players may have gone AFK, simply because they didn't have a whole hour to wait until the battle is moving. Certainly the partner of the AFK person, will not feel like sticking around for a whole hour waiting to loose.

If you want to play like that,then drink new years ale 10 times.You can just play a game like auto-battle even if a powercut happens,the game just waits for 3 or four turns,but plays most turns.

With all of these suggestions there's a level of selfishness that is mind boggling. If you have a poor connection, either don't do PvP or accept you may drop out and lose sometimes.
Why should 1 or 3 or even 5 other people have to wait for you. Are you so great, so amazing, that your time is 5 times more important than everyone elses?

There are more than enough waits. Sometimes I feel that there should be less.

If it wasn't clear... by 'melting away' I meant that it would be fast melting...
So, combined with the fact that there are enemies, this will even odds a lot!

Think about it, where the harm in AI controlling your troops?

It's a horrible idea. If my teammate loses connection, I'd pray for a quick defeat instead of waiting for 30 minutes or so for them to get back. Your suggestion have a terrible griefing potential.

Quick defeat? Well thats actually quite easy.. just play ultra fast and don't use any tactics... or use simple anti-tactics, such as charge within enemy archer range and wait all your turns. To be honest, I don't think people like quick defeats, they do like on the other hand, at least some exp and fsp!

You can't do that if your stupid idea is implemented. How can you play ultra fast if you have to wait every time a disconnected player's troops gets their turn?
