We still not know anything but can give some suggestions here:

# Alchemists Guild (AG)
To create potions that give temporary (1-10 battles, depend on AG level) boost to increase magic damage, mana capacity or magic protection. Can use goods like mercury or sulphur and hope more ppl will use magic build.

# Ranger's Guild (RG)
This could be anti-thief guild and combine with no.8 upcoming feat(Personal "village" (Ceasar, SimCity type) will create more interactions.

Basically Thieves Guild (TG) members will try to rob a village, guard by RG members. A lord can be both thief and ranger but only one active at one time.

* Village robbing mechanism:
1. Estate will be the village centre in that area.
Other lords (regardless of MC) can choose which village to join. Click 'defend' button in chosen estate to start RG mode and can't change village for next 24 hours.

2. Lords who prevail from first thieves attack will automatically join RG and start collect points. RG bonus/reward will depend on level, for example one permanent defence point to hero stats per 2 RG levels and give extra resources at each level up. Also could use village reputation points and after reach cap limit, will increases the HP/mana restoration speed by 5-10% in that estate.

3. Battles auto triggered by certain conditions:
- One on one, both online at same area and thief set ambush (attack) mode.
- 2v1, 1v2 or even 2v2.
Could be various type of battle and if no defender online, replace with certain AI troops.
- AI troops type depend on current estate-owner's faction.

* Travelling RG members that survive ambush won't earn reputation or guild point. Could use diamond-shaped map for TG vs RG battle to make a difference.

* RG members who don't want to defend or get attacked but already enter 'defend mode' must not stay at that area. TG members will earn usual TG point and perhaps more gold.

I like the Rangers' Guild. Really cool mechanism there, and what's more, people who cannot afford TGI will have something else to do too. As with the packmaster event, it is evident that people take their thief or non-thief status quite seriously! D: Rangers VS Thieves is the next in thing. ^^

However, I don't find Alchemists' Guild interesting. Increase magic damage? Wouldn't it achieve a similar effect if we could wear 3 rings instead of 2? Full arts is already 1.5k gold per battle, if you have too much gold to spare, there's always enchants. No need for potions imho. With new +stat modifiers, admins will probably also have to relook into faction balancing again.

Hmm I take that back. Faction balancing isn't finalised and will hopefully never be (because of new updates). And for lack of a better myself, I'm for both guilds!
And for lack of a better ideamyself....
