| Hi, I am planning to make some duels with elf and would like to pick knight as my opponent. Would you advise me the best recruit/setup of troops and choosing talents? |

| max bow then max efk and max uni. use druids to stoneskin your units dont start light knight. elf talent wheel at lvl 8 aint very good but i would go with advanced luck. put crossbows or knights to favoured enemy. |
| after you have first killed his crossbows let him come to you. then next shoot monks unless griff is on range of bows when you kill it ofc. after swordsmen move to efks range you should get 2 hits with instead you going close and your opponent waits with it and you get only 1 hit.. |
Thanks naapa92, I saw some fights elf vs knight and the matter is that if knight takes max crossbows, you will get your bows killed by the time you kill 1/2 his crossbows.
Then when you wait with the rest of units until knight come to you, 1/2 of crossbows will keep shooting to efk.
In 2/3 of battle you will have only some of your unicorns and druids left and knight will have still some griffs, some crossbows and all monks. When you run out of arrows with druids, you will have to come closer and then monks and crossbows will finish you. |
Monks have lot hp, have moderate initiative, and no melee penalty also don't do same damage than swords can do... So my tip is put swords like favorite enemy, wait they came, take retail, hit and back if you haddle other unit to take ret again, and sure hit and back safe, if not, move efks + unis, always put elfks close to griffs + swords to u hit both at same time, and if u don't have unit to take retail hit the weak one.
ur efks can destroy swords they are amazing, just let monks for the end of the battle. |

| if you know who you're going to duel, check that player's combat log to see how he sets up his troops in battle. then you will be ready. |
