Easiest way:
Google: "video recorder free".
Example:
Camtasia studio, free software for Windows.
He have their own codec, but i suggest to use a x264 encoder (find it with google) as video coder - free, with mltithreading support and i using it personally many times (with other software), also for make presentations.

Install program, install codec, select it on preferences, select part of screen where battle is displayed, push recording... and you have your target. |
