Wizard is a special faction mising living, mecanical and elemental troops!
Ring : Since level 5 you will have Magi so rign of doubt are useless (#5 wrong), ring of inspiration are useless on garg and golem as well so may be impetuosity or dexterity!
Boots : Galoshes of battle will give you a good defence (+3% init is good but not enough compair +2 defence)
other arts could be :
Wizard cap
Combat staff
Cape of spirits.
