AuthorA combat guild?
Not human nature.

Well I guess so but I do it a lot, why? Coz things like ST's (moneymaker) and accidental wins and harder MGs/hunt will drain my exp. Do higher levels please me? Not quite. So then exp is not that great. Why? Higher level = get stuff everybody else has. Higher Guilds/ FSL = Get stuff only you have. It also means you can use less predicatable tactics...

Makee some tactics..Some parameter is nt everything...It's don't matter if opponent..Is hvg 1 or 2 more .. attck.def...

I agree with you. However, you just can't do enough to prevent 'luck' destroying a battle (at least low levels. For example, the actual luck stat triggering too much, or on first few strikes, opponent gets first turn + tons of morale. I don't want to be in a position to complain about such things.. Luck is luck.

Do I find it boring and tiresome trying to come second? No, not at all, it's quite fun, because sometimes it's a heck of a lot harder to get the 'maximum' 2nd (where you destroy max enemy troops)
Weapons at all levels are similar (apart from might/magic differences) I don't think playing with min AP or max AP makes a difference.

Of course I can play GB whenever I like. Anyone can do that. It is a matter of choice. Now, if there was a choice between min AP and max AP GBs, I'll chose the min one. And I believe the CG should reflect that. And even if you specify 'min AP' some fool with full arts will join.

I agree that at higher levels, fsp/exp from GBs improve- and hunts get more difficult. But the absence of parameters as for hunter guild advancement is a factor which makes you think twice before joining a group battle.

Regarding Lair, a full arts gives considerably more than "one or two attack/defence" over min AP.
And balanced is messed up in min ap, so it would not be fair battles

I don't know if that should be here, but i just have to add a comment of disagree to this:

Battles are unbalanced when fighting with maximum arts, since each spellpower and wisdom point costs 2 AP instead of 1 as attack and defence.
If one is not combat level 14+ as wizard its just a really big disadvantage with full arts! Then aswell having to play versus high magic reduction is devastating.
-1.

from topic starter post, what i saw here are:

1. gold reward
2. bonus stats
3. pvp vs non-pvp

but, in summary, i can conclude as the difference btw pvp-player and non-pvp-player.

in fact, i could just give 1 good valid reason and it would kill all your suggestion: you get from what you pay.

simple, WHY do you think that you (join pvp often, fast leveling) should get same reward like other (join pvp less, slow leveling)?

how about you think from a non-pvp-players' view:

===
i spend my time to build my character slowly: earn my gold with LG, loot artifacts from hunt, travel all the way to trade in facilities, spend time on MG, set ambush from time to time, manage my treasury careful without get in debt, join tavern to have some fun and get GG point...

in return, i get enough gold to expense, good artifacts, bonus stats and so on. it is good for long run.

here is the point: WHY should a new player like Greyfalcon deserve to have same advantage like me where he didnt invest his time in his character?

===
so, do you get the point now? someone spend his time to earn those reward, he should deserve it; but not you who just want to fast leveling.
Thats exactly the opposite of what I meant, Pang. If you see my combat log, I level up slowly enough. I meant that people should be able to level up slowly and still enjoy the PvP games. I should be able to play the PvP and not lvl up fast. Or, lvl up without penalties.

The point that PvP can be played from lvl 9 up is valid and true. And CG does give a bonus for PvP. I think it should be cheaper to fight CG- and the bonuses should be set similar to Hunts and thief guilds- not starting at the current level.
