LG Calculator

AuthorLG Calculator
Good day,

Here I present to you all a LG Calculator!
This post will be dedicated to explaining its functions and I hope that you will find it to be of some use :)

Note first that this is done in _Excel_ 2010. Apart from functionality testings on earlier versions which will be due shortly, a few differentiations within the format is to be expected.

So what do I mean by an LG Calculator?

==========
Functions
==========
The file basically have 2 different types of calculators:

1. Wage Calculator
You provide..
--- Starting Point eg. 10th enroll
--- Ending Point eg. 110th enroll

You get..
--- Total enrolls eg. 100 enrolls
--- Starting LG eg. 0(10) +80
--- Final LG eg. 1(110) +70[]
--- Resulting Golds eg. 17,340g

2. LG Calculator
You provide..
--- Starting Point eg. 1200th enroll
--- Desired amount of gold eg. 200,000g

You get..
--- Starting LG eg. 4(1200) +300
--- Final LG eg. 5(1887) +1113
--- Required enrolls (round up) eg. 687 enrolls getting you 200,022g

==========
Variables
==========
You can change:
• Wage
• Multiplier at each LG levels (productivity)
• Everything else under You provide.. sections above

Downloads

.xls (earlier versions) - 72kb

==========
Final Remarks
==========
• Cross-LG level compatible
• Calculations are based purely on LG, thus players are encouraged to take into account their own spending which could produce some inconsistencies otherwise
• Should you find any problems, glitches, and such, then I am more than happy to look into the issue and attempt to fix it
• Suggestions are more than welcome but I would find it more productive had there been prior discussions which can be made here :)
Awesome!

Merry Christmas!

thanks for the comments, sir_Artisian and PenetratingShot =D

haven't been playing for a while and after coming back, I found some inaccuracies in the LG calculator. The issue's with the rounding of numbers.
(such as 181 wage with 1.8x productivity (which is 325.8))

By default, Excel uses the .5 as the rounding threshold I believe, so the calculator will tell you you will get 326 gold.
But after a few testings, I found out that the gold we get in here is rounded down, (we actually get 325)

So that's what I'll be fixing in the 2nd version of the LG calculator.

But only that seems quite trifling and doesn't worth the bump, so I decided to also include a field for average enrolls (per day) for users to put in,
and using this, the 2 existing functions will also give you the expected date that you will reach your desired amount of gold/enrolls.

and here's the download links:

.xlsx (2007 or above) - 33kb

.xls (for earlier version) - 88kb

==========
Final Remarks
==========
• It is recommended that you do not take the expected date too seriously due to a lot of uncertainties that are not taken into account. It is only a rough estimate at best.
• But for this same reason, the average daily enrolls is accurate up to 2 decimal places.

Enjoy :P
