Silly me, I forgot exactly which parameters affect the strength of caravans. Can somebody remind me?
The reason why I'm asking is because I recently reached a faction lvl 9 and as I remember increase of faction level inflicts the strength of caravans as well. But I don't see it! Further my winning rate increased (I know I have better stats myself as well, but I tought this should compensate somehow) |

beating caravan = that type of caravan gets stronger (7% or something)
losing caravan = that type of caravan gets weaker (2% or something)
levelling up (combat) = all types of caravans get stronger a lot (20% or something)
changing factions, thiefs guild and faction levels have no influence at all |

This are the new rules? I'm 100% sure that there were strength coeficients for each faction some time ago. |

yes there was but that was a long time ago and were scrapped when the field got bigger.. |
There were different caravan strength coefficients for each faction before the TG update in late-2009.
I've heard rumours about TG level affecting the strength of caravans, but that was a long time back too and it doesn't seem true anymore.
Faction level increase affecting caravan strength is entirely new to me. I doubt it was ever the case.
So currently the only dynamics affecting caravan strength are as Sven91 described. |
