Hi All..
I don't see that many people change their factions,because it costs very high to construct buildings...
For Eg: At lvl 11 if i change to other faction it costs me almost 300k gold to construct all...And even with 300 k gold i can play only 1 faction...
So i thought about renting armies on daily basis...where you can change to any faction(every 24 hrs) and pay for each stack of troops you recruit...
For Eg: I am Elf...I change to a DE n i pay say like 20 gold for tier 1 n 25 gold for upgraded tier 1...30 gold for tier 2 n 35 gold for upgraded tier 2 etc(gold is paid on daily basis)....
upgraded constructions which are done b4 d lvl(using diamonds) can be kept more costlier
For eg: i want to use anchorites or ogre magi or lizard cavalry etc @ lvl 11 so i pay 350gold(more or less) for 1 day...
so everyone can play different factions @ low cost & i hope there are not many who spends on diamonds in this server so people can use gold to rent upgraded constructions before the required lvl....
Due to this people are motivated alot to play daily n also they do regular enrolling so that they can change faction with less cost...

Imagine a good racial knight, 100+ swords, or a necro with over 300skels

To be honest, I do not agree with this idea .. to change to another faction .. this is simple, make another chars .. :) use different factions .. :) Grow it up .. :)
Tips for multi-factional play : Try to build ur multi factions since low level .. :)
With my alt _Lordofchaos_ I do : Every time my faction has FL 3, then I change to another factions, maybe I cannot force to build all upgrades, but try to find the best upgrades or buildings u really need, the most important ones.
Ex : If u are forced to choose : hydras or shrews, then u go to shrews first, same like Monks and X-bowmen, then u have to choose x-bowmen first .. :) |

wouldnt everyone then just rent diamond upgrades for one during tournaments / events ... ?

Players have to choose, for example train smiths guild, have enchanted weapons or play multiple factions. You cant have all. |

Unless the renting is limited to no diamond upgrades and the cost was very high. For example 5-10% of the building cost per day. For the prices in post#1 it would be cheaper to rent for a full year than to buy the building. |
| On second thought allow for renting the diamond upgrades too. But that would be 20% of the building cost per day. So if the diamond upgrade costs 50 diamonds, then the renting cost would be 10 diamonds. |

because if you were a Dark Elf and you wanted your shrews to use in tournaments and you don't have enough by loads they you would change faction wait one day then borrow shrews then win tournaments and you could do that forever and you will never have to pay for the actual thing. |
@2 yes on long term its more but you can play all factions right...think abt that...and renting is done like 24hrs frm the time you rent a troop...
@3 instead of creating a multi or changing faction in same id n suffering without proper upgrades its is much better to be with less racial...
@ 4 i want to play all the 7 factions..so do you think it is possible to create 7 user ids...the limit is also oly 3 for multis...and think that i create 3 muti i cant play all the 3...its a huge waste of time...and its more irritating to play a faction frm the start...
@6 why do you worry if everyone can rent, its an imbalance only if a few can rent...
@7 the rates i hav written is oly an example,if you think diamond upgrades r too much you can keep it limited like only 1 day in a week...

Hey best idea for renting your armies is they working as labourers in labourer's guild.So no new idea.So another way......Roulette!
Try to earn money in another way like roulette,tournaments,renting,avatars,taverns and others. |
@12 its not sure that i get gold frm roulette n travern i may loose alot also...making avatars n renting is a very slow process like i dnt even get 1k gold per day...
I did not do a same post @ 11 i dnt knw how it happen... |

Yes, I realized your rates were examples, but they were so low, you might as well have said 1 gold per month rent for all buildings/castles. |

i dont think its better to have less troops for knight+necro, or have less attack, def, ini for your troops
you can play 2 factions with your main, 2 with your alt and 3 with your other alts.
once dwarfs and step barbarian are introduced, u can play 3 faction with each account.
