Character "Empire" should not be in clans 10, 11, 266, 373, 591. Instead character "Administration" should be in its place in those clans (or "Secretary").
Also, character "Empire" should not ban people and do forum moderation, etc... "Empire"'s only interaction with the forum should be to post announces in the "Official announcements" thread, which are related to the story.
"Administration" (or Secretary, etc) can ban people, do forum moderation, etc... as well as post announces in the "Official announcements" thread, which are NOT related to the story (e.g., news about diamonds, donation methods, etc... anything related to the real life). | | the name should be empress. emperor / empress leads an empire. | PS: No, this is not an anti-monarchy drive :p

Why? What difference would it make,otherwise? or for things as they are now?
4. Any idea should have a purpose and describe the means of it's realization. It should also answer the question: "Why it needs to be done?".

Character "Empire" is part of the story line.
Forum/Server/Diamonds/Updates/Upgrades/Donation methods/etc... are part of the server administration, the real life.
My suggestion is to separate the two planes. The server management has nothing to do with the story line. And vice-versa...
Keep the character "Empire" part of the story line only, for announces about the story line only.
And use character "Administration" or "Secretary" to deal with everything related to the server management: announces for server updates/upgrades, diamonds/donations, forum moderation, banning, etc...
Again, 'why?': makes the story line more story-like. And keeps the dirty work of server management out of the story-realm.
That... err... herald, is part of both planes, so his status is kind of loose. Up to him to play the coin he wants, when he wants... |
