Yes. This is what does difficulty refers to. |

Not really. It's very rare to have this happen twice in a row. But it can happen.

ive never had it myself that I completed this quest without fighting it.
If that happened i would just travel around until I was ambushed, so I cant say with 100% certainty.
But as far as I heard from other players, if you get the ambush quest, and the game decides you get barbarian brigands, and your previous barbarian brigands was {5}, then you do the quest without fighting, then next time you face barbarian brigands its {7} and not {6}. |
