| Does spell power improve demonic gating, or is that strictly tied to faction level? Just trying to figure out if there is any advantage from s.p. for demons, besides casting spells when I get to a higher level. |

SP for demons is useless. Basically the only spell you will ever use is disruption (or maybe a delay once in a while).
**The only thing SP _might_ be usefull is if you have hellfire talent, but this is not a good talent in my opinion |
| Thanks for the insight. I am a new player and whatever tips I can get are useful. I was thinking about changing to the undead faction (which explains the spell power question) but I think demons are flexible and interesting enough to play all the way through. Your answer helped me decide to stick with demons. |

For demon, the only to increase Gate will be extensing gating from the talent wheel of demon : http://www.lordswm.org/strony/eng/tutorials/030-talents.php
You can use the demon set as well to increase the troops but except those two, you cannot increase gates!
